Cooking with Chef Michael
When I talk about cooking, something I’ve been doing for the better part of my life, I’m not talking about creating elaborate dinner parties or three-day science projects. I’m taking about simple, easy, everyday meals. It is my intentions to encourage others to feed themselves, Which means we need modest, realistic expectations, and I want to teach people to cook food that’s good enough to share with family, friends and, if you must, your Instagram and Facebook pages. Not cooking is a big mistake and it’s one that’s costs money, good times, control, serenity and, yes, vastly better health.
Cooking real food is the best defense not to mention that any meal you’re likely to eat at home contains much fewer calories than one you would eat in a restaurant. Of course, anyone who cooks could have told you that. Preparing your own meals can changed your life. I suspect if you try it, it will become your mission too.
So take some time for yourself and watch some of these videos I have prepared for those that are looking for new recipies and ideas that will enhance their skills in the kitchen. Also be sure to check back from time to time as I will continue adding more episodes in the future.

Chef Michael takes great pride in crafting the finest foods and these are a few of his favorite reccomendations.
Chocolate Hot Sauce. Great on a coffee rubbed steak. Try it with chicken strips to make a mock mole chicken street taco. Fantastic on Lamb... and incredible on vanilla ice cream..
Apricot Jelly with Vanilla notes and a pepper kick. Use with your varieties of cheeses on a charcuterie board. Also perfect on a toasted bagle with cream cheese.
Great addition to a berry crepe. Splash on a strawberry cheesecake to bring a little bite to the dish. Give that chicken fruit salad a little extra pop.

I've gone through 4 bottles of Asian Heat now and it's one of my absolute favorites to always have on hand. It works in Asian dishes beautifully by adding the heat that I'm always looking for (this sauce is very spicy) and a burst of umami flavor that pairs so well with those flavors. I'm also a fan of microwave noodle bowls and this sauce will make any of them taste like a 5 star meal. Try this versatile sauce if you haven't already. Foodie Gone Wild sauces are all fantastic.

Foodie Gone Wild makes Great Jams and Jellies! This is my second time ordering and they are fantastic! The Jalapeno Pepper Jelly is one of my favorites. I ordered 2! The classic Jalapeno flavor is great on just about everything! It has a wonderful flavor, not just a chemical burn. I can't wait to try some of the others.

Peppers 'n' Cider... Wonderful flavors - A subtle flexible spice that works with a wide range of food but strong enough to stand out against any of them. Two of my favorite ways to enjoy it is on eggs or on pizza. It can go anywhere - on a brat, on a burrito, drop some in tomato sauce for a nice zing! I often add it to take out. I wish you sold it by the gallon! The perfect table hot sauce.

Definitely worth the purchase! These sauces are incredible. Absolutely loved the selection, all of them taste amazing, and I already know which ones I’ll be buying again. So many of them were super bomb and I can’t wait to make another purchase!

November Pain is like Tobasco on steroids. It has a mild burn but the flavor is what sets this sauce apart. I wouldn’t serve this to anyone who doesn’t truly enjoy eating food that makes you sweat but true hot-heads could take this in a shot glass and the flavor would have you double fisting. I add this to everything from beef, pork to chicken. I usually add something with more kick in addition to this to raise the heat factor but I can’t get over how amazing this tastes. The consistency is great as a sandwich topping. I honestly keep a bottle of this on my desk so I can add it to anything I eat at work.
