About Chef Michael

Cooking has been part of my family for as long as I can remember.

From Sunday dinners with my grandparents , holiday get togethers with family and friends as well as contributing to special events as they came up.  The smells of roast chicken, a rustic Italian gravy with sausage and peppers, lasagna all bring back warm memories.

Back in 2013, I decided to enroll in culinary school to pursue my passion of cooking and along the way, decided to create a Facebook page called Foodiegonewild. At first it was just random live posts of me cooking with family. Then came my introduction to hot sauce. After surviving several facemelting and tastebud destroying brands, I came across a good friends brand in 2017. It wasnt painful and the morning after regret never came. This blossomed into a friendship that also expanded on to creation of recipes to go along woth his versions of hot sauce.

While helping out at an event, a customer asked why doesn’t anyone make a chocolate hot sauce?  I looked at my friend and decided to jump on that idea.

In 2023 Foodie Gone Wild LLC was formed!

I currently have 8 varieties of hot sauce created by me, each having a different flavor profile and perfect balance of heat.  I also took my fathers pepper jelly recipe and expanded on that to introduce 3 varieties of jellies and 2 varieties of jam.
